The cutting wheel guard, made of lightweight magnesium die-cast, features an ergonomic guard adjustment and efficient water guide.

Thanks to the standard water connection with irrigation system, the cutting wheel is continuously supplied with water. This effectively binds generated dust, ensuring uninterrupted work.

The semi-automatic STIHL belt tensioner allows for easy tensioning at a consistent level, extending the lifespan of belts and bearings.

The groundbreaking long-life air filter system utilizes innovative cyclone precleaning to separate coarse dust particles, significantly extending filter life and reducing cleaning intervals.

Buffer elements effectively dampen engine vibrations, reducing strain on hands and arms and enabling comfortable freehand cutting.

The practical decompression valve reduces starting effort by releasing a portion of the compressed mixture from the cylinder before starting. This relieves the operator and enhances the starting system's durability.
