FLUID FILM NAS is mainly intended for protection of metal surfaces during internal temporary storage and for preservation during sea and road transport and for cavity sealing of motor vehicles.

• Protection time: approx. 6 years (in closed cavities)
• Processing: with commercially available compressed air systems after heating the material to approx. 25°C or with airless systems

Features

• Solvent-free and physiologically safe for application and as a protective film.
• Requires minimal surface treatment.
• Penetrates through rust, displaces water and forms an extremely resistant protection against corrosion by salts.
• Good adhesion to wet or dry surfaces.
• No evaporation, resinification or drying of the protective film.
• Can be easily removed if necessary.
• Can come into contact with water immediately after application.
• Processing after slight warming to approx. 25 °C, also possible with a standard pressure cup gun.
• Particularly suitable as a lubricant and penetrating oil.

Application:

• FLUID FILM NAS can be used as a rust remover and at the same time as a corrosion inhibitor.
• For economic reasons, it is recommended to remove loose contamination such as rust and old coating parts by washing.
• The surface may be damp, but must be freed from surface water.

• For temporary corrosion protection during transport by sea and for intermediate storage under roof.
  • By brush or roller by one-time application,
  • or by spraying with the help of compressed air systems
• For the preservation of cavities and inaccessible places
  • With a pressure cup gun and a cavity probe, after heating to approx. 25 °C while stirring

Effect:

• Extremely resistant to all weather conditions, including snow and slush and the solvent salts used in winter maintenance.
• Extremely effective and reliable at the same time as a rust remover and water-displacing corrosion inhibitor.
• Excellent salt water resistance.
• As corrosion protection of steel parts and other metal parts during transport and processing in the manufacturing plant.
• Fast creeping, yet well adhering, temperature stable, will not be washed off or altered by rain or seawater, nor will it evaporate and gum up as most penetrating oils do.
• Bitumen protection layers already on the car chassis floors are plasticized by FLUID FILM and thus activated.
